ICTC chosen as S.W.A.P. non-profit of the year.

Students With A Purpose (SWAP) is a group of area high school junior and senior students who commit to participating in H.E.L.P. Malawi's annual fundraiser aimed at helping the organization build schools and educational programming in Malawi, along with supporting a local, Cleveland-based organization. This year, SWAP members chose ICTC as the local non-profit organization to benefit from the event. We are thrilled to be a part of the event, and provide volunteers to participate in this popular city-wide dance for high school students.

H.E.L.P. Malawi, founded by Jillian Wolstein, aims "to develop the pathway for children living in rural regions of Africa to become integral members and leaders in society through quality education." More information can be found at their website: http://helpchildren.org.

The SWAP "Club for a Cause" event, entitled "Fire and Ice" will be held on April 7, 2018, at the Agora Theater and Ballroom in Cleveland. Part of the proceeds of the evening will be given to ICTC to help with educational programming for the free 8-week summer camp at Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center. Tickets can be purchased at http://helpchildren.org/events/

Northeast Ohio Junior and Senior high school students have proven to be one of H.E.L.P.’s greatest champions. Students With A Purpose, founded by Ilana Wolstein with help from Nikki and Shannon Leavitt, serves to instill a sense of philanthropy and fosters leadership while providing them with practical skills, knowledge and support on how to organize, manage and host a non-profit fundraising event.
